Collections
The design collections are based on observations and memories of travels, those far away and those completely close to walks in a meadow or forest. We are fascinated by how harmonious and soothing the natural landscape is in spite of the richness and complexity of motifs, textures and colors, or rather because of them!We look for this extraordinary harmony when creating our collections. We look at the shapes of plants and animals in the natural world, often learning about their unique properties in the process. We paint them by hand, with paints on paper, observing the textures created from the unique combination of pigments and water, achieving the softness of the contours, so very natural in perception. When assembling the final composition, we make sure that it is soothing, pleasing to the eye and full of little surprises.
In celebration of Makashka's 10th anniversary, we have created an anniversary collection that combines the best exemplary memories of the past years. It is a sentimental journey through our history, in sweet, light romantic colors.
